The PlayStation Tournaments: Road to Evo is back for 2024!
Tournament Lineup
Challenge top players and battle for cash and the ultimate prize: a roundtrip flight, hotel stay, and 3-Day Event Badge to compete at Evo in Las Vegas. The Road to Evo 2024 features five games across six regions:
Now’s your chance to test your skills and take your place on the world stage. Fight through the Qualifiers, win the livestreamed Finals, and challenge the best of the best at Evo 2024! Active PS Plus membership required. Must be the appropriate age and a resident of an eligible country. Void where prohibited.

Tournament Format
For TEKKEN 8, Guilty Gear -Strive- and THE KING OF FIGHTERS XV, the Road to Evo starts when Road to Evo PlayStation Tournaments go live on May 1st. Win any Playstation Tournament Open Qualifier, and you’ll receive an invite to the Closed Qualifier hosted by ESL. The Closed Qualifier will culminate in a live Top 8, where the winner will receive a trip to Evo!
Our partners at ESL will host the Street Fighter 6 Open Qualifiers. The top performers from each Open Qualifier will move on to the broadcast Finals, with a trip to Evo as the grand prize.
Schedule

Win any tournament, and you’ll receive an invite to the Closed Qualifier hosted by ESL. The Closed Qualifier will culminate in a live Top 8, where the winner will receive a trip to Evo!
PlayStation Tournaments Open Qualifiers
ESL Open Qualifiers
North America and East Asia will have 8 Open Qualifiers. The winner of each Qualifier will move on to the Finals.
MENA will have 4 Open Qualifiers. The top 2 players from each Qualifier will move on to the Finals.
Broadcast Finals
The Road to Evo 2024 Finals will be streamed live on Twitch and the PlayStation Esports YouTube.
Tournament Prizing
All Event Badges provide entry to Evo 2024. Each badge includes access to the show floor and all event activities, including first-come, first-served general admission access to the Arena Finals Experience. A commemorative lanyard and water bottle will be included when you pick up your badge on-site at the event Registration Desk.
Finals
Europe Tournament Format
In Europe, TEKKEN 8 and Guilty Gear -Strive-, Road to Evo PlayStation Tournaments start on May 1st. Win any PlayStation Tournaments Open Qualifier, and you’ll receive an invite to the Closed Qualifier hosted by ESL. For Street Fighter 6 and Mortal Kombat 1, the top 2 will move from each Open Qualifier on ESL Play to the Closed Qualifier.
The top 2 from each Closed Qualifier will receive a travel package to the finals in Paris.
The Paris finals will feature a round-robin between the two semifinalists and two invited pros. The semifinalist with the most match wins will win a trip to Evo.
