At the Evo Awards 2025, we got to hold a special exhibition match featuring "FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves" with Evo champions Arslan Ash, Punk, and Reynald. This event showcased their skills and gave us a taste of the high level competition we could be looking forward to in the upcoming installment of the classic fighting game series.

The exhibition kicked off with Arslan Ash vs Punk in a highly anticipated match, as it is the first time the 2 FGC powerhouses have faced off in a tournament environment. Arslan Ash’s Vox demonstrated adaptability and skill, securing a victory over Punk’s Mai, 2-0.

Then came the test, as Arslan Ash competed against Evo 2013 KING OF FIGHTERS XIII champion, Reynald. Their match was intense, with each game coming down to the wire. Reynald got to show off newly announced character Kain, in our first look at live matches with him. Arslan Ash emerged victorious, further solidifying his reputation as a fighting game prodigy.

The exhibition was short, but wet our appetite for more FATAL FURY. With the beta dropping tomorrow, Feb 20, we can all get a chance to see the next evolution of this franchise and see what SNK has in store.
