With this renewed partnership, Evo and Crunchyroll have created an all new experience for fans of both fighting games and anime to enjoy during the weekend.

We’re pleased to announce the first ever Evo Anime Night presented by Crunchyroll that will take place inside the Evo arena with an exclusive, in-person only, film screening of Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie, on Saturday July 20th.

Widely considered to be required watching for any Street Fighter fan, and fans of classic anime, we’re excited to partner with Crunchyroll for what could be the movie’s largest screening for a live audience since its release in 1996. Join our hosts TastySteve, Yipes, and the rest of the FGC in enjoying this classic anime movie to close out Evo Saturday. Showtime will begin directly following Top 6 for Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike, and is free for all Saturday attendees at Evo.

In addition to presenting Evo Anime Night, Crunchyroll is providing a 5% discount on all official Evo merchandise! Just show your Digital Membership Card (located in your account profile on the Crunchyroll mobile app) at Evo merch booth checkout, and enjoy the benefits of being an anime fan at Evo. All subscription levels are eligible for this discount, and if you don’t have one you can pick up a Crunchyroll subscription before Evo.

While competitor registration is closed, spectator badges for Evo 2024 are on sale throughout the event, and there are plenty of reasons to make your way to Las Vegas for this year’s record-breaking event. Attendees with spectator badges will have access to all events and attractions in this year’s revamped 3-day convention format, including access to the Top 6 Arena Finals Experience, exclusive photo opportunities, the Cosplay Contest, our Artist Alley, the Vendor Village, casual matches and popup brackets in the BYOC area, watch parties with some of your favorite creators, and more!

Evo 2024 Spectator Badges are available for purchase online until July 16th, and each day in person at the event. Every badge includes a complimentary Evo water bottle while supplies last.

Be sure to follow Evo on social media to keep up with the latest announcements, and we look forward to seeing you this July 19-21 for our largest celebration of fighting games yet!
