EVO Flash Tournaments Presented by Visa
Official Rules
The EVO Flash Tournaments Presented by Visa (each a “Flash Tournament”), to take place on site at EVO Vegas 2026 (the “Event”) during operational hours from June 26, 2026 to June 28, 2026 (the “Promotion Period”), consist of a series of hourly pick-up tournaments conducted in the Evo Flash Tournaments Presented by Visa activation area on-site at the Event.
ELIGIBILITY: The Flash Tournament is open only to ticketed attendees of the Event. Participants must be at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of participation, or at least thirteen (13) years of age with the prior written consent of a parent or legal guardian, who must also be present at the Event. Employees, officers and directors of RTS Management, Inc. (“RTS”), E-Sports Evolution LLC, Visa, Inc., Maelstrom, Newman & Lickstein LLP, their respective parent companies, affiliates, and subsidiaries (collectively, the “Parties”) are not eligible to participate in the Flash Tournaments. By participating, you agree to these Official Rules and to the decisions of RTS, which are final and binding in all respects. Void where prohibited. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE: Eligible participants may enter and participate in hourly Flash Tournament brackets made available at the Event. To participate, an eligible participant must appear at the designated Flash Tournament area, sign in as directed by RTS, and comply with all Event and gameplay procedures. Each participant may enter only once per hourly bracket. Any attempt by any participant to enter more than once per bracket may result in disqualification from all Flash Tournaments and forfeiture of any prize tickets earned. Participants may enter multiple Flash Tournaments during the Promotion Period, subject to availability and RTS’s discretion.
GAMEPLAY: Each Flash Tournament is intended to be eight (8) player, single-elimination brackets, played as a best two (2) out of three (3) games format, with the winner of a match advancing to the next round. Unless otherwise stated by RTS or elected by participant, winner may keep same characters. Participants may not engage in collusion, match-fixing, intentional losing, bracket manipulation, or any other conduct that RTS, in its sole discretion, deems unsportsmanlike or detrimental to the integrity of the Flash Tournaments. Any such conduct may result in immediate disqualification and forfeiture of all prize tickets earned. All gameplay disputes shall be resolved by RTS staff on-site, whose decisions are final and binding. RTS reserves the right to modify tournament format, game rules, game titles, scheduling, player cap, check-in procedures, locations, and related mechanics at any time in its sole discretion.
The games made available for Flash Tournaments are determined by RTS in its sole discretion and may include, without limitation: 2XKO, Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game, BlazBlue: Central Fiction, Street Fighter 6, TEKKEN 8, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, Guilty Gear -Strive-, Rivals of Aether II, Under Night In-Birth II [Sys: Celes], Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage, Footsies, Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo, Dragon Ball FighterZ, and Vampire Savior. RTS may substitute, remove, add, or revise titles at any time. Participants may participate only in Flash Tournaments for game titles for which they are within the applicable age requirement for such game title. RTS reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to restrict, refuse, or disqualify any participant from any Flash Tournament involving a game title for which such participant does not satisfy the applicable age requirement.
PRIZES: Participants in each Flash Tournament may earn prize tickets based on final placement in the applicable bracket. Unless otherwise determined by RTS, prize tickets will be awarded as follows: participants placing 5th through 8th will receive one (1) prize ticket; participants placing 3rd or 4th will receive four (4) prize tickets; the participant placing 2nd will receive six (6) prize tickets; and the participant placing 1st will receive eight (8) prize tickets. Prize tickets are promotional instruments only, have no cash value, and may be revoked, withheld, or invalidated in RTS’ sole discretion in the event of suspected fraud, tampering, rule violations, or administrative error. Prize tickets may be redeemed only at the designated Evo Flash Tournament prize redemption counter during the Promotion Period and/or such redemption period designated by RTS. All unredeemed prize tickets shall expire and become void at the close of the Promotion Period, or such later redemption deadline as RTS may designate in writing, with no further obligation on the part of RTS or any Party. Available redemption items, ticket costs, quantities, and availability are subject to change at any time and while supplies last. Prize values may range from one (1) to one hundred (100) prize tickets depending on the item. All prizes are subject to availability and substitution by RTS in its sole discretion.
LEADERBOARD GRAND PRIZE: In addition to ticket redemption prizes, eligible participants will earn positions on the official Flash Tournament leaderboard based on the total number of prize tickets earned during the Promotion Period. The participant with the highest total prize ticket count at the conclusion of the Promotion Period, may be awarded a trip for one (1) person to attend Evo France 2026 in Nice, France on October 9–11, 2026 and airfare and hotel accommodations for one (1) person (the “Grand Prize”). The Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of the Grand Prize is up to $ 2,300. Participants finishing in second (2nd), third (3rd), and fourth (4th) place will each receive one (1) PlayStation 5 Pro console. Participant prize ticket counts shall be tracked by RTS or its designee. RTS reserves the right to determine final standings, apply tie-breakers, verify eligibility, substitute prizes of equal or greater value, and withhold or revoke prizes in the event of fraud, rule violations, or administrative error. The potential Grand Prize winner and runners-up will be notified by email using the contact information provided at check-in. Each potential winner must respond within seven (7) days of notification and must execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and any other documentation required by RTS within seven (7) days of issuance. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to timely respond, fails to return the required documents, or is found ineligible, the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to the next-highest-ranked eligible participant, at RTS's sole discretion.
IF POTENTIAL WINNER CANNOT ATTEND EVO FRANCE ON THE DATES STATED ABOVE OR IF POTENTIAL WINNER DOES NOT WISH OR IS UNABLE TO ATTEND EVO FRANCE, PRIZE WILL BE FORFEITED.
PRIZE RESTRICTIONS: Prizes will be awarded only upon winner redemption, confirmation, verification, and final approval by RTS. No substitution or transfer of any prize permitted, except by RTS who reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. In the event a minor wins the Grand Prize, RTS reserves the right to supplement or modify prize winnings as determined by RTS in RTS’s sole discretion. Parties are not responsible for late, lost, stolen, damaged, delayed, or undelivered prizes. All expenses associated with the receipt or use of a prize not specifically mentioned as being included (e.g., any requested upgrades or applicable duties, customs fees, and tariffs, etc.) are excluded and are the sole responsibility of winner. If a winner elects not to accept a prize or prize component of any kind in its entirety, no additional compensation will be awarded.
Grand Prize includes airfare and hotel booked by RTS in RTS’s sole discretion. Airfare consists of round-trip coach air transportation for winner from a major commercial airport (as determined by RTS, in its sole discretion) near winner’s residence. Hotel consists of standard hotel accommodations. Trip restrictions/conditions stated herein are not all-inclusive. Trips are subject to air travel/hotel/ticket availability and all other prize and travel restrictions. All travelers understand that any trip may present an inherent risk of exposure to current and emerging infectious disease(s) including but not limited to COVID-19 (and its variants), and the RTS cannot guarantee exposure during the trip will not happen. Winner is solely responsible for providing/obtaining all necessary identification and travel documents (e.g. passport, visas, etc.). Passports must be valid for six (6) months after return date of trip. Failure to provide such documents may result in trip cancellation upon airport check-in. Grand Prize winner must have/present at least one (1) major credit card in good standing in order to check into a hotel. RTS reserves the right to structure travel route in its sole discretion. Grand Prize winner is responsible for all other incidentals/expenses not specifically mentioned as being included including, but not limited to: taxes, government fees, unspecified ground transportation, meals, tips, gratuities, hotel incidentals, laundry services, local and long-distance telephone calls or other communications, mobile phone roaming fees, internet or wireless services, travel documents, service charges, travel insurance premiums, travel insurance, baggage fees and/or other personal expenses.
PRIZES ARE AWARDED “AS IS” WITH NO GUARANTEE. ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED BY THE PARTIES. ANY COSTS AND EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH PRIZE ACCEPTANCE AND USE NOT SPECIFIED HEREIN AS BEING PROVIDED ARE WINNERS’ SOLE RESPONSIBILITY.
GRAND PRIZE CONDITIONS: The ARV of the Grand Prize is subject to price fluctuations in the consumer marketplace based on, among other things, any gap in time between the date the ARV is estimated for purposes of these Official Rules and the date the prize is awarded or redeemed. Additional compensation will not be provided if value of trip is less than the stated ARV.
No alternate prize or compensation will be awarded if winner does not attend one or more days of Evo France for any reason. Evo France may be modified, curtailed or even cancelled altogether at the sole discretion of RTS, operators of the venue and any additional entities involved with the Evo France, if any, or any other individuals of requisite authority at all times due to scheduling and/or other circumstances beyond their control. When attending Evo France, winner must follow all policies and instructions of RTS, operators of the venue and any additional entities involved with Evo France, if any, or any other individuals of requisite authority at all times as well as acting in a respectful and courteous manner at all times, the preceding includes but is not limited to refraining from heckling, bothering, interfering with player(s) in conjunction with their performance; by way of example, taunting, physically and/or verbally abusing player(s). Admission to the venue is subject to all rules, requirements, and policies, including, without limitation, all security, safety and health requirements and policies, put in place, that may be updated from time to time.
VISA CARDHOLDER BENEFITS: Visa cardholders may be eligible to receive a twenty-five percent (25%) bonus (“Bonus”) in prize tickets at the time of prize redemption. To receive such benefit, the participant must present an eligible Visa card and a valid government-issued photo identification matching the name on the Visa card at the prize redemption counter at the time of redemption. Bonus prize ticket value will be rounded to the nearest whole number, with values of 0.5 and above rounded up and values below 0.5 rounded down. Bonus offer valid only for eligible Flash Tournament prize ticket redemptions. Determinations regarding eligibility for the Visa cardholder benefit, including card eligibility, identity verification, and calculation of bonus tickets, shall be made by RTS in its sole discretion. The Visa cardholder benefit is promotional only, non-transferable, subject to verification, and may be modified, suspended, or discontinued by RTS at any time.
PRIZE CONDITIONS: Prize tickets earned through participation in Flash Tournaments may be redeemed for available prizes designated by RTS, while supplies last. Prize offerings, redemption thresholds, quantities, and approximate retail values may vary throughout the Promotion Period. RTS reserves the right to limit quantities, impose redemption conditions, and substitute prizes of equal or greater value in its sole discretion.
GENERAL: Each participant hereby expressly grants to the Parties and their respective designees all rights to use and publish his/her name, likeness (photographic or simulated), voice, and province of residence for all purposes, including without limitation, advertising, marketing, promotional and publicity purposes in connection with the Flash Tournaments (“Advertising”), in any and all media now or hereafter devised, worldwide in perpetuity, without any form of notice or any amount or kind of compensation or permission, except where prohibited by applicable law. All copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights in such Advertising shall be owned by RTS and/or its licensors, and each winning participant hereby disclaims and waives any claim of right to such Advertising. Such Advertising shall be solely under the control of RTS and/or its licensors, and each winner hereby waives any claim of control over the Advertising content as well as any possible claims of misuse of participant’s name, likeness or voice under contract, tort, or any other theory of law. All decisions as to these Official Rules and interpretations thereof are exclusively within the sole discretion of the Parties and may be changed from time to time without notice. RTS reserves the right to cancel or modify any or all Flash Tournaments at any time without notice.
CONDUCT: By participating in the Flash Tournament, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules, any applicable Event code of conduct, and the decisions of the Parties, which shall be final, binding, and non-appealable in all respects. Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification and forfeiture of all prize tickets earned. Without limiting the foregoing, the following conduct is prohibited and may result in immediate disqualification: harassment, threatening or abusive behavior toward any participant, staff member, or spectator; use of alcohol or controlled substances that impairs gameplay or disrupts the Event; hate speech or discriminatory conduct; damage to equipment or the Event venue; and any other conduct that the Parties, in their sole discretion, deem disruptive, unsafe, or detrimental to the Flash Tournaments. The Parties reserve the right at their sole discretion to disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the participation process or the operation of the Flash Tournaments, or to be acting in any manner deemed by the Parties to be in violation of the Official Rules.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: The Parties assume no responsibility or liability for (i) any technical malfunction, failure, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment utilized in any aspect of the operation of the Flash Tournaments; (ii) other errors or difficulties of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Flash Tournaments, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the Flash Tournaments; or (iii) any injury or damage to participants or to any other person which may be related to or resulting from any attempt to participate in the Flash Tournaments. If, for any reason, the Flash Tournament (or any part thereof) is not capable of running as planned for reasons which may include, without limitation, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which may corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Flash Tournament, then the Parties reserve the right at their sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Flash Tournament in whole or in part.
RELEASES: All participants, as a condition of participation in the Flash Tournament, agree to release, hold harmless and indemnify the Parties from and against any and all liability, claims, damages, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons or property which may be sustained, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, in connection with (i) participation in any aspect of the Flash Tournament, including any on-site activities, equipment use, or interactions with other participants, (ii) the receipt, ownership or use of the prize awarded, or (iii) any typographical or other error in these Official Rules. By participating, each participant acknowledges and assumes all risks associated with participation in the Flash Tournaments and attendance at the Event, including but not limited to risks of physical injury, property damage, illness, or exposure to communicable diseases.
CHOICE OF LAW AND JURISDICTION: Except where prohibited, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of participants, in connection with this Flash Tournament, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of New York, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions. By participating in this Flash Tournament, you agree that (i) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Flash Tournament shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; (ii) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with participating, but in no event attorneys’ fees; (iii) under no circumstances will you be permitted to obtain awards for and hereby waive all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased; and (iv) in no event will you be able to restrain the Event or any other RTS event.
TAX INFORMATION: All federal, state, local, and other taxes on prizes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the applicable winner. A 1099 tax form (preceded by a W9 Form) will be issued to the Grand Prize winner.
