The mission: Support tournament organizers across the globe, grow their local communities, and assist players in finding more places to play. More signups. More connections. More games.
The Evo Locals project is creating new resources to help players discover their nearby communities, host their own tournaments, and bring fighting game fans together worldwide. Our program will be putting $1,000,000 directly into the hands of local organizers to support these goals each year.
With your feedback, we'll be building the following tools and resources leading up to 2027, with a new website coming early next year.
Evo Locals Grants & Partnerships
If you're a TO who needs more setups, financial support for venue fees, production, staffing, graphic designers, trailer makers, social media best practices, introductions to commentators, or pretty much anything needed to run your event, we want to support you. We have a Million dollars available to help organizers around the globe level up their events, start something new for their communities, or get the funds needed to keep a healthy local going for another year.
Applications for our Grants & Partnerships will be going live in the Fall of 2026, but if you're a TO and have questions, you can reach out to us directly at locals@evo.gg.
We want to hear from as many TOs as possible so we can be ready to collaborate when this goes live.
FGC Community Directory
A comprehensive listing of your favorite fighting game, main character, and local fighting game communities, all in one easily searchable place. To avoid empty and dead-link syndrome in our listings: Each community will be submitted, verified, and maintained by actual humans to ensure you're going to the right place.
The beta version of the Community Directory is live now with useful upgrades coming in August.

Dozens of fighting game events across the FGC are streamed every weekend, and we want to make sure you know when, where, and how to watch.
If you want to know who is streaming a bracket this weekend, you can find it in the FGC Event Calendar. Fighting game tournaments around the world will be listed with details on their stream schedule, language, and where to watch.
The FGC Event Calendar will be live in August, aiming to feature any tournament with a stream that has more than 100 entrants. If you want to submit your event before we go live you can apply below.
