The Seaside Resort stage and photo mode also come with version 1.06 alongside Lidia’s release. With one final announcement, the TEKKEN Team gave us a look at the next addition to the Character Pass, Heihachi. He’s not “completely dead” after all!

Onward to the Top 6! KEISUKE, ATIF BUTT, ARSLAN ASH, RAEF, NOBI, and ULSAN compete to become the first TEKKEN 8 Evo Champion. We’ve got the highlights for every match in this ultimate competition. Now, GET READY FOR THE NEXT BATTLE.

KEISUKE and ATIF started the Top 6, with the winners semifinal using Dragunov and Kazuya. While KEISUKE put up a commendable fight, nearly turning the tide in the last round with only a pixel of health, it was ATIF who decided the final battle 2:0. ATIF proceeded forward to the winners final.

ARSLAN ASH and RAEF meet in the winners semifinal using Nina and Jin, respectively. Following the precedent set by ATIF, ARSLAN ASH won 2:0. ARSLAN ASH heads to meet ATIF BUTT in the winners finals.

The losers quarterfinal starts with ULSAN and KEISUKE using Dragunov and Kazuya, respectively. At the start of the first Game, things felt evenhanded, but in the final round, KISUKE charged full-steam ahead, countering everything ULSAN threw at them, even breaking through a Rage Art. ULSAN didn’t like the outcome of the first game one bit, so they retaliated with a clean 3:0 sweep in Game 2, evening the score to 1:1. The two talented players were neck and neck, both needing that win to fight their way back to the Grand Finals. ULSAN’s Dragunov was relentless, taking the win as they proceeded to the losers semifinal.

RAEF and NOBI determine who’s headed to the losers semifinal with Dragunov and Jin, respectively. NOBI won a swift 2:0 Match. Like Dragunov, NOBI was calculating, precise, and deadly. NOBI continues onward to the losers semifinal.

ARSLAN ASH and ATIF were both determined who would earn their way to winners side in the Grand Finals, continuing their use of Nina and Dragunov. ARSLAN ASH is on a mission to earn their next Evo Championship. ATIF wasn’t going down without a fight, almost shifting the match in their favor, but ARSLAN ASH has gone on record saying they were the best, and with every opportunity, they show they have what it takes to prove it.

ULSAN and NOBI gave us the first losers semifinal with Reina and Dragunov, respectively. When it seemed like ULSAN’s victory was assured, NOBI struck back and took the first Game. NOBI was on fire, taking the next two rounds in a vicious fury. NOBI’s momentum continued as they shut down ULSAN’s run. NOBI is headed to losers final to join ATIF.

ATIF and NOBI engaged in a Dragunov mirror match, and things were initially looking rough for NOBI. ATIF did not give them a moment to think, and they did not stop swinging as they won nine straight rounds. ATIF joined ARSLAN ASH in the Grand Finals to determine the ultimate victor of the tournament and the Evo 2024 TEKKEN 8 Champion.

The Grand Finals see a runback from ATIF and Dragunov on their way to the defending Evo Champion ARSLAN ASH with their NINA. ATIF is performing much stronger against ARSLAN ASH when compared to the winners finals, as they took the first Game. ARSLAN ASH ties the score after a vicious back and forth. The potential of a reset felt like it was slipping away. During Game 4, ATIF switched to FENG, which paid off as they balanced the score at 2:2. It seemed apparent that ARSLAN ASH only needed time to adapt, as they came back with two round wins. The final Round seemed to be going in ATIF’s favor until the very last second when they pulled off an expertly timed hit to earn them the win and their fifth Evo Championship title.
